These three are the most fascinating coral reefs of the Egyptian Red Sea. All three have an elongated shape and all three stand longitudinally. Their steep walls run down to several hundred feet and feature picturesque underwater plateaus. The reefs’ special characteristics are influenced by strong water currents that make the water rich in oxygen and planktons, which attract a huge array of wildlife that is a lot more rich and colorful than what the average coastal reefs can offer. The B-D-E Safari starts in Port Ghalib and is recommended for advanced scuba divers in the first place. Visibility and water temperatures are first rate all year around.
